My passion to photography started in 2001 with a second hand Zenit and producing black&white photographs in the darkroom. The process often ended with frustration but when it did not, the result was magical... As years passed, my curiosity towards photography has grown, and after a certain amount of time, I have been upgraded to diapositive.
I bought my first DSLR camera in 2005. As I have always been passionate about computers and IT; combining photography with the digital world made me love both even more. The abilities of Photoshop and the potential of digital photography amazed me. The effects that I had been spending hours in the darkroom for were only a few clicks away. I was still spending hours to achieve the perfect result, but now in front of the computer instead of the darkroom which was magnificent!
After a decade, I am still learning every day and it seems to be a nice long journey ahead...
Nowadays, my wife and I spend most of our free time travelling; and I am taking advantage of these travels by taking photos and processing them afterwards. I am being a burden to her as I make her wait in cold cold sunrises, but thankfully she is very understanding. :)

I specialise in travel, landscapes and wedding photography.
I mostly use Nikon D850 along with NikonD800. For my landscapes, I use mainly the Nikon 16-35 F4. For an all-rounder, I’d like to have my 50mm F1.4 prime lens. When I shoot portraits and weddings, I use Nikon 70-200 F4 as well. The only non-Nikon lens I have is the Tamron 90mm F2.8, which I use for macro and close-ups.
I like vibrant colours, dramatic skies and a little bit of extra-ordinariness in photography. I believe a reasonable amount of exaggeration helps to give the emotional impact better.
